The brown eyed kids didn't get any privileges. Yes I remember it leaving a good impression.

@Cameron- it is very scary how much more bullying is intensified these days.Nikkihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01387615750602906030noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6708069075866606887.post-17325496343312037172010-07-23T19:43:29.570-05:002010-07-23T19:43:29.570-05:00I remember something we did that was vaguely simil...I remember something we did that was vaguely similar in 6th grade. For similar reasons. Those with brown eyes worn wristbands and those with blue eyes (and green maybe?) were "superior" to the others. A very lasting impression.berrypatchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05549788623907370094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6708069075866606887.post-73500052983722253352010-07-23T19:36:16.244-05:002010-07-23T19:36:16.244-05:00Wow I had 2 thoughts when I read this.
1 - I'm...Wow I had 2 thoughts when I read this.
1 - I'm happy that kid didn't have AIDS & wasn't totally emotionally scarred. (I agree with the comment above.)
2 - I wonder how many kids this is true for - maybe not with AIDS specifically but any number of things that they are ridiculed for at school. Kids can be so mean. I really do worry about my daughter in school. I mean, things were rough when we were in school & now there's cyber-bullying & things like that. It's scary.Cameronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11905013570660801371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6708069075866606887.post-34516710840945013322010-07-23T16:29:22.623-05:002010-07-23T16:29:22.623-05:00Wow! But alas, he did not. I don't even think I had heard of AIDS by fifth grade ...

Fifth grade was one of my favorite grades ...Danahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13495544510852297215noreply@blogger.com
